The Posey Deluxe Podus Boot is a multi-purpose foot boot designed to help prevent and heal heel and toe ulcers while protecting against foot drop at home. This medium-large orthopedic boot is recommended for patients at risk for plantar flexion contracture, hip rotation, or pressure sores, making it an essential care tool for those managing mobility challenges or recovering in bed. The boot features a large heel cavity that keeps the heel completely isolated and free from pressure, helping to prevent painful pressure injuries. Its durable polymer splint can accommodate up to 45 degrees of plantar flexion, providing comfortable positioning for a range of foot conditions. The machine-washable liners are made from moisture-absorbing Ortho-Wick material that helps keep skin dry and comfortable during extended wear.
