The Hollister New Image Flextend Convex Floating Flange is an extended wear skin barrier designed to provide secure, comfortable ostomy care at home for people with recessed, retracted, or flush stomas. This two-piece system features built-in convexity that creates added security and skin protection, helping to prevent leakage and keep the barrier firmly in place during daily activities. The pre-sized barrier has a 7/8 inch inner diameter stoma opening and a 1 3/4 inch outer diameter flange, identified by a green color code for easy matching with compatible New Image pouches. The Flextend hydrocolloid material is Hollister's most discharge-resistant barrier, specially formulated for extended wear time and ideal for urostomies and high-output ileostomies. The exclusive Floating Flange design allows you to place your fingers under the flange when attaching a pouch, which gently eliminates pressure on tender post-operative or sensitive abdomens.
