Superior Skin Car The Hollister New Image FlexWear Convex Skin Barrier with Floating Flange is designed to provide reliable, comfortable protection for those managing an ostomy at home. This two-piece ostomy skin barrier features a convex shape that helps flatten uneven areas around the stoma, making it especially helpful for flush, recessed, or retracted stomas that require additional support for a secure seal. The FlexWear barrier is built with durable hydrocolloid that provides excellent adhesion to the skin and is designed to be worn for more than one day, giving you confidence during daily wear. What sets this barrier apart is its integrated floating flange, which allows you to easily place your fingers under the flange when attaching a pouch, helping to minimize pressure on tender abdominal areas and making the process more comfortable. The tapered barrier edges and porous tape border work together to keep the barrier securely in place while allowing your skin to breathe, reducing irritation for sensitive skin. This cut-to-fit barrier accommodates stomas up to two inches and features a blue 2 3/4-inch flange that's compatible with any New Image drainable, closed, or urostomy pouch with the same flange size. Each box contains five barriers, and the product is not made with natural rubber latex, making it a gentle choice for daily ostomy care at home.
