ConvaTec AQUACEL AG+ Extra is an advanced antimicrobial wound dressing designed for wounds that are infected, at risk of infection, or where biofilm may be present. This sterile 5cm by 5cm dressing combines proven Hydrofiber Technology with MORE THAN SILVER Technology to manage the three key barriers to healing: exudate, infection, and biofilm. Each AQUACEL AG+ Extra dressing is made with two layers of Hydrofiber material stitch-bonded together, making it nine times stronger and fifty percent more absorbent than standard AQUACEL Ag dressings.
